Reception – Restaurant Le Coeur

Au Coeur du Village 5*

The hotel is a 5-star establishment ideally located in the center of the village of La Clusaz and proudly displays the Relais & Châteaux label.
It consists of 41 suites, 19 rooms and a private chalet as well as two restaurants, including a gourmet one, a bar with a fireplace, a smoking room, a spa and a ski shop.

Hotel Reception

Reception

  • Valet/Baggageman M/W - CDD

    Your qualities:

    • You are serious, determined and diligent.
    • You speak English fluently.
    • You share the Relais & Castles.
    • You are a graduate of a Hospitality School.
    • You have your B license.

    Your main missions:

    • Welcome, guide and inform customers about the various reception, sales and convenience points present within the hotel.
    • Receive and transport customer luggage upon arrival and departure of the customer.
    • Park, make available and clean customer vehicles.
    • Ensure and maintain the good order and cleanliness of the square and the entrance hall and the exterior of the hotel.
    • Participate in various tasks inherent to the concierge service (shopping, mail, depositing and collecting linen from the laundry, etc.).

Kid's Club

  • Kids Club Facilitator M/W - Occasional Missions

    As a Kids Club Animator, you will contribute to offering children an entertaining and memorable experience in a high-end setting. You will work in pairs and will be responsible for their safety, comfort and entertainment during the evenings of the school holidays.

    Your qualities:

    • Sense of responsibility and vigilance.
    • Dynamism, creativity and enthusiasm.
    • Good contact with children and ability to establish a climate of trust.

    Your main missions

    Monitoring and security:

    • Ensuring the safety of children and ensuring that they develop in a safe and pleasant environment.

    Accompanying during meals:

    • Helping children serve themselves at the buffet.
    • Accompanying the youngest so that they eat in good conditions and with pleasure.

    Animating activities:

    • Proposing games, workshops and activities adapted to the ages of the children, using the equipment available on site.
    • Create a friendly and stimulating atmosphere for small groups of children.

    Collaboration:

    • Work as a team to ensure smooth and optimal supervision.
    • Communicate with parents to answer any questions they may have

    Skills

    • Minimum age 16, BAFA is an asset but not mandatory.
    • Previous experience in childcare or entertainment is appreciated but not mandatory
    • Knowledge of entertainment techniques and games adapted to children.
    • Fluency in French is essential. Knowledge of other languages ​​(English in particular) is an asset.

    Position to be filled during school holidays (Christmas and New Year included).

Restaurant Le Coeur

Located on the ground floor of the hotel, Le Coeur offers gourmet and family cuisine for a real moment of sharing. The emphasis is on local and seasonal products for a cuisine as close as possible to nature.

Thanks to a bay window, customers can admire the work done in the kitchen and create a bond with the cooks.

Restaurant table Le Coeur

  • Restaurant Manager M/W

    Your qualities:

    • Team spirit

    • Real passion for the mountains and knowledge of the seasonal environment

    Your main missions: in liaison with the management & the Head Chef, implement the defined catering commercial strategy in compliance with procedures and standards.

    • Supervise and control the various daily activities of all Catering services (breakfast, snacking, Bar & Restaurant). Develop the turnover and results of these points of sale.
    • Ensure the proper functioning of the points of sale, in terms of customer reception and its management. Advise the customer in their choice of dishes and suggest wines to go with the dishes. Manage cash receipts.
    • Enforce work instructions to your team, develop weekly schedules, Welcome and facilitate the taking up of new team members.
    • Organize stocks to ensure operational management of the restaurant. Guarantee food safety by respecting the principles of Hygiene and Safety.

    Additional information:

    • With a capacity of 90hp, you manage a team of 10 people spread across the gourmet restaurant and the Bar. You organize the implementation of the different poles (breakfast, snacking, restaurant and Bar) You have advanced knowledge of Wines, Cheeses and cocktails.
    • To best appreciate this position, it is necessary to have a strong interest in management, customer relations, as well as attention to detail and things well done.

    These points must be an integral part of your professional mode of operation.

    Hospitality training at BTS level.
    Know how to manage a team // Reactivity and anticipation // Dynamic and autonomous.
    Sense of interpersonal skills.
    Fluency in English is mandatory and fluency in another language would be a plus.

    Your main missions:

    • Know the food menu and special offers perfectly.
    • Know the wine list and cheeses offered in our cellar perfectly.
    • Replace the Maître d’hôtel on his days off.
    • Assist the Maître d’hôtel in the smooth running of the service and the organization of the work of his teams.
    • Take orders.
    • Ensure liaison between customers and kitchen teams.
    • Know perfectly the tasks of line managers and clerks in order to supervise them well and ensure their good integration and get involved in their training.
    • Check the room set-up, particularly based on the day’s reservations, and monitor the service.
    • Master serving at the table, on the plate, cutting, flaming.
    • Ensure the cleanliness of the restaurant and the rear areas and that the tools and materials provided are maintained in good working order.
    • Apply the hotel’s quality standards.

    HACCP training required.
